A contest?!

Yes, it's that time of year when I can't hold it in any longer and want to hold a reader-insert contest. I know I haven't updated in a while, but that's because University is very tiring and demanding. However, now that I've finished it for the year, I have all of summer to dabble in hobbies such as fanfiction and YES the Another HetaWorld remake (which is going fabulously, might I add. So far it's a HUGE improvement on the current demo. It's a complete re-write so it still won't be out for some time, though). Anyway! I suppose I should move on to tell you about the theme!

Theme of the contest.

There isn't really a theme for the contest, but there is a requirment; the story must be set during the season of summer. Of course, you are allowed to set the story in winter and have flashbacks to summer, or something like that. It doesn't have to stay in summer either, the seasons can change just as long as summer is mentioned. I think you get the idea?

Does it have to be a Reader-Insert?

NO! It can be ANY sort of fanfic you like. Canon characters, reader-inserts and original characters are ALL welcome in this contest. You will not be penalised just because you prefer to write a different style of fanfiction to someone else.

No, it does not have to have romance in it at all.
Yes, sex is allowed as long as you put up the right warnings at the beginning.
Yes, bad language is allowed, again with the right warnings at the beginning.
Yes, violence is allowed, of course with the right warning at the beginning.
No, it doesn't have to be ABOUT summer, it just has to mention it at least once.
Make sure you send me a link to your entry once it's completed.
Yes, you can enter multiple times, but you cannot win multiple times.
Yes, it can be set in an Alternative Universe.
Yes it can be a crossover, but I don't really like them.
Using my favourite characters will not earn you brownie points.

DEADLINE!

The dealine is currently 12am - 1st of August.
If people want me to extend this, let me know. I might be willing to go up till the 24th of August if people are just too busy. (But that's so far away and I want to judge now! )
