Chapter One
-Introduction-


     It was a normal day for you. You had gotten to the highschool early enough to hang out with your friends; Elizabeta the Hungarian chick and Lilly, Vash's little sister. Although Lilly was in the year below you, you had promised Vash that you would take care of her. Not that you had any choice in the matter since the Swiss pulled a gun out on you. It was only a BB gun, but it was still pretty petrifying.

     You were absorbed in mindless chit-chat when suddenly all three of your attentions were caught by five guys you had never laid eyes on before entering the large gates of the school. Everyone who was stood outside, waiting for the bell to ring, turned and fixed their sight on the mysterious group, who walked together and ignored everyone's curious stares.

     At one end of the group was the shortest of the lot, with silver hair and lilac eyes. He looked the most nervous out of the group, though he tried his hardest to fix a blank expression on his cute features. Beside him walked a tall, older guy, with a cocky grin and spiked blonde hair. His eyes were the most gorgeous blue and he appeared to be the most confident out of the five. In the middle of the group was the medium height guy, with an unreadable blank face, much like the youngest boy was trying to achieve. His hair was a dusty blonde and his eyes were a soulless-blue that sent shivers down your spine. The tallest of them all, stood beside the mysterious one, and this guy had striking blonde hair, sapphire orbs and a glare on his face that looked as though he would kill anyone who stepped in his way. The last member of the group was yet another blonde, with violet, or perhaps brown eyes. He looked cheery and observant of his surroundings.

     Elizabeta's mouth dropped open. "Who are they?"

     "I have no idea, but I certainly want to find out." You muttered as you stared on at the beautiful men.

     Lilly was confused by how the two of you reacted to the new students, and since she was not completely captivated by the group, she was the first out of you three to notice that Feliks, the Polish guy, had nudged his way into your group.

     "Like, do you girls seriously not know who they are?" The cross-dresser was an odd boy, but he was also the one to go to if you needed information on ANYONE in the entire school. You had no idea how he managed to gather so much data on people, but he did seem to know everyone and was popular, despite his unusual quirks.

     "No idea, but I'm guessing you know them?" You asked as you watched Feliks flick his golden strands of hair to the side.

     "Totally. I haven't been able to complete my file on them yet, but I do know that the five of them are transfer students, all from different parts of the North. They've been nicknamed the Nordic five."

     Elizabeta folded her arms across her chest. "By who?"

     "Duh, by me of course!" Feliks flicked his hair again and cleared his throat. "Gosh, now let me continue. That short cute one on the end is from Iceland. His name is Emil. The tall hunk next to him is from Denmark, he's called Mathias. A Norwegian called Lukas is the mysterious one in the middle. The total giant next to him is Swedish and called Berwald. Last but not least is that cutie; Tino from Finland."

     You and Elizabeta nodded in silence. You then watched the group disappear into the building. "Are they single?" That question seemed to subconsciously slip from your lips.

     Elizabeta chuckled with a huge grin spread from ear to ear, though Lilly was at a complete loss as why you were interested in their relationship statuses. Elizabeta knew though. "(Name), have you really fallen under their spell already?"

     A blush flooded your cheeks as you suddenly realized what you had asked, but Feliks interrupted you before you could try and defend yourself. "Like, they're such a closed off group. They're also like all in the year above us, apart from Emil. So, like, if you want to get into their circle, you're gonna have to be friends with Emil first. He's like the most vulnerable at the moment, 'cause he's not gonna have any friends in lessons, so like, get in with him and you will probably meet the rest soon after. As for any of them being single, give me till the end of the day and I will have found out every little secret about the Nordic Five." Feliks winked at you and as the bell tolled loud and clear, he ran off with his Lithuanian friend, Toris.
